Hello honey. Just been having a chat with spam and tbh that machine that you are contemplating sounds like too much for older, mostly cheap tech nowadays imo.

I quickly slapped together some bits after hearing the price of the old machine. This would be a little more, but would wipe the floor withn nthe other machine on performance:

Lian Li Previous generation case. Complete bargain atm from Maplins and half price currently. I am using one atm and it has been one of the best bargains I have ever picked up tbh £39.99 in VAT and delivery is bonkers! Thye really so not have many left now tho so decide quickly.

A very good bundle that comprises of the following:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.2 GHz Socket 754, 512 KB cache, BOXED (VERY strong chip for gaming)
MSI K8T NEO-FSR Mainboard socket 754 K8T800, SATA/ATA, GbLAN, ATX, SOUND (Highly rated and quick motherboard)
Corsair Value S. PC3200 DDR-DIMM 512MB Unbuffered, Non-parity, 64Megx64, CL2.5 (Good for the money)

£272.00 INC VAT.

Bloody excellent price and would completely decimate that old xp2400/512mb ddr333 combo spam mentioned to me

Ebuyer 600w Power Supply Silver With Tri Colour Dual Fan - £19.97 inc VAT

Ignore the price, it is more than worth trying one at that price. Stunts has just used one of these to great success too. If it dies after a year or so, no biggy at that price :D

and to finish it all off:

Buy yourself 4 of those at £1.40 each. You will onlt need 3, but as they are sooo cheap, you can sometimes get one coming damaged in a batch.

Girl, if you got that setup instead of the dog dog machine spam mentioned to me, you will love it I guarantee :D

You have options for a same-colour cdrom/dvd and a floppy too if you want.

Cheers,

Nick :)

Forgot to say that if you come up with a price and have an idea of what you want, you can transfer the cash to me so I can get the parts delivered, build it all and bring it to you for use at i21?

Or get your bitch to work and get him to build it :P
