Hey if anyone has the new PC gamer magazine (oct) then you will have seen a article on building a decent computer capable of playing HL2 at resnoable FPS rate, any who the price seems nice £471.71 for all compenonents so i managed to sway the bank (parents), to give me the money.

But before i spend it i just want to know if i am gunan be buying a good PC or its just some cleaver advertising for www.aria.co.uk

Any feedback would be great thx :D.

get the zalman heatsink ive got. its expensive at £40 but its the best heatsink you can get, very quiet and cools very well

Nah, wait for the Thermalright SI-97. If your not planning on overclocking I would just use the standard retail HS, the one that came with my A64 keeps it nice and cool. Just make sure you replace the thermal pad with some Paste as that seems to make a massive difference.
