Foots recommended the X800Pro cards. Its what I'm getting...

Together with what you have for m/board, mem and CPU... lol (copy cat :) ) There is a thread on it in this forum.

Toms hardware have recently reviewed a whole load of amd64 MB's. It seems that a PCI-E option would be the better choice for the future

I wouldnt get that motherboard. Try one of these:

Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939 nForce3 Ultra (Socket 939) Motherboard (MB-018-GI)

Abit AV8 3RD Eye (Socket 939) Motherboard (MB-053-AB)

Any of those 3 mobos seem top notch (well the MSI and ABIT at least :D).
It really depends whether you have an AGP card (the 9800pro) already and cant afford a new one or wether you want to 'future proof' somewhat and go for a PCI-E card. The one thing i would recommend that you get is a Power Supply that can handle the system. A 400-450ish watt Enermax/Tagan/Antec should easily handle that system (even with a newer GFX card).

EDIT: just noticed your sig. Elite - have you had issues with the MSI board?

What about the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe?

Slots: 3x PCI (32 Bit)
2x PCI-Express x1
2x PCI-Express x16

Good board- but you cant use your 9800pro with that. :(

Yup - When you first turn it on some times it just sits there after post`.....my usb's work when they wanted to (gotta reboot to get them bk) some times in the bios it goes slow....u have got to wait for it to respond when your working ur way around the bios...same some times when it boots...i takes longer then it should after a clean format. Iv seen in forums some ppl love there neo2 but others have probs like my self...as it was ordered from overclockers uk its a pain in the ass sending it back so i put up with it
