Suffice to say I thought these guys would go on producing high quality low latency RAM forever, but it seems they've got a little hot under the collar recntly about sticky pretty LEDs to the top of their RAM. Underneath are the same chips that run my RAM with a simple bar of LEDs to show usage, but do we really require a scrolling LED message on our RAM? Personally I'd have mine saying "Rip off"

Obviously we don't and they never claim that it is anything better. Just remember that with so many people wanting systems laced with Neons, glowing coolant systems and fans that play "sweet home alabama", they're quite popular ;)

Its the old school D&T LED syndrome. If it hasn't got LED's on it you fail!!!
