Got this bloody (trojan horse dailer .18.C) Don't no where it came from AVG deletes it but it keeps coming back any ideas how to get rid it keep coming up every so often don'y think its harmfull but it s so getting on me tits can some help?

Try google Rex , alot of auto remove scripts around that can fix virusses easily. Or simple manual removal walktrough.

tryed llookin it up on google no joy the virus puts 41.exe in a folder all the time which i think is the dialer i hate this shit i have firewall on adaware and AVG how do these thing get on my pc if i surf porn all day then it would be understandable but i don't (to hard to get away with it as pc in front room :()

Turn off System Restore before you remove the virus, that's most likely why it's coming back.

P.S: Use Firefox rather than I.E too.

have you tried housecall? i'v used it in the past and if it cant remove the virus then it should give u a manual removal

Fook things are going from bad to worst i deleted all internet temp files then ran a test now i have another virus attatched to battlefield vietnam EXE and C&C exe it called
Win32/Mkar.k

This is pissing me right off :frusty:

Seems the Virus's have been migrating from the kids comp did a virus check on his and he has the virus's AVG Deleted the Win32/Mkar.k i looked it up on google to find out about it but cannot find anything, is this like a new virus if anyone can find anythig out about it would be nice to know to make sure it hasn't done any damage.

go into Run and type 'msconfig' and go to the Startup tab and look for anything that looks suspicious, half of the viruses or spyware that I get turn up in there and load up at startup.

Had a look there m8 nothing suspect the dialer still keep coming back AVG deletes it but after a while its there again i gota find the cause where its coming from i have no idea.
:( my head hurts.

Right this is my last post on this subject i can't get rid of the trojan horse dialer it keeps popping up on AVG it gets deleted but still comes back if i can't get rid of it by weekend i'm gonna have to format pc its the only way i can think of at the moment to git rid:(

I just bought LOTR return of the king (yeah yeah behind in the times) ,, and Avg picked that virus up upon initialization of installation,,, these are walmart ,, store bought disk AVg picks it up ,, norton doesnt say a word,, Ive just contacted Electronic Arts about the issue and waiting for a responce (LOL well see how long this takes )
