I was going to say. Loads of ppl have had problems, BUT ONLY with vietnam. You don't have to reset to dafaults at all m8, merely set the antialiasing and anisotropic filtering back to application controlled under Direct3d. The patch when released is going to fix this problem with their game.

Cheers,

Nick :)

We just brought ours a couple of months ago for £135 - real bargain. Sold my Ti4200 on ebay last night for £51.50 which i didnt think was too bad.

Ah well my time with ATI may well be coming to an end once again. I am looking for somewhere to preorder a 6800 Ultra, as at the resolutions I will be running with this new TFT, if crushes the current top dog ATI by a factor of 2+ :(

I am going to 'try' to hold off to see what ATI have really got coming out, but word is that they really didn't count on Nvidia unleashing the sheer monster that they have.

Cheers,

Nick :)

I have an ATI 9700 Pro at the moment, and found that it is the anisotropic filtering that needs to be on Application Preference,[Nasty artifacting] I can set the antialiasing to 2x or 4x with no artifacting! Try it!

from what ive read now the 6800 still cant handle the x800's for image quality and value. Thats why ive bought a x800pro
